ZAPPULA, GASPER, SR.
Gasper Zappula Sr., age 94, went to sleep surrounded with his family on
Wednesday, January 31, 2007.  He is survived by his loving wife of 73
years, Josephine Silessi Zappula.  Father of Emile Zappula and Gasper
Zappula Jr.  He was blessed with 5 grandchildren Marlyn Rooney, Norma
Jones, Joann Mathews, Heather Delahoussaye and his only grandson, the late
Emile Jr.  There are 6 Great- Grandchildren; Erin, Jolene, Bunker, Kaitlyn,
Adam and Faith Nicole.  He was born and raised in Hammond, La with his 10
brothers and sisters.  He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church
and eagerly awaits his Lord's return.  Relatives and friends are invited to
attend the funeral service from the Metairie home of Lamana- Panno- Fallo,
1717 Veterans Blvd. on Friday February 2, 2007 at 1:30 pm. Followed by
interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation on Friday February 2,
