ZIMMER, ROSE MACALUSO

A resident of Hammond, she died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at her home. She was 88 and a 
native of Independence. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 9 a.m. to 
10:40 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 11 a.m. 
Monday, conducted by the Rev. Justin Kauchak, O.P. Entombment in Colonial 
Mausoleum. Survived by two sisters, Mary Heins, Hammond, and Lena Barcia, Chalmette; 
a brother, Joe Macaluso, Independence; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded 
in death by her husband, Henry Zimmer; parents, Tony and Carmilla Ribando Macaluso; 
a brother, Philip Macaluso; and a sister, Josephine O'Dell. In lieu of flowers, family 
request donations be made to North Oaks Hospice, P.O. Box 2668, Hammond LA 
70404.
