To any Judge, Justice of the Peace, or Minister of the Gospel, legally authorized 
to celebrate marriage ceremonies in said Parish and State:

You are hereby authorized and empowered, by authority of this License, 
to celebrate the Rite of Matrimony between ORAN BICKFORD of the PARISH OF 
TANGIPAHOA and MISS ANNIE DYKES of the PARISH OF TANGIPAHOA STATE OF LOUISIANA. 
And that you make due return according to law. 

Given under my official signature and the impress of my seal of office, this 
4 day of Dec. 1896.
