Marriage License

To any Justice of the Peace, or Minister of the Gospel Legally Authorized to
Celebrate Marriage Ceremonies in said State and Parish:

You are hereby authorized and empowered by this License to Celebrate the
Rite of Matrimony between Luther [Napoleon] Johnson 21  years of age, of the Parish of
St. Helena State of Louisiana, and Bertie Bell Davis 18 years of age, of the Parish of
St. Helena State of Louisiana.  And that you make due return according to Law.
Given under my official signature and the impress of my seal of office, this 2nd
Day of  September 1933.

Says that he is not related to Bertie Bell Davis, the person named in this
License, and to whom he is to be married, within the degree prohibited by
Act No. 9 of the General Assembly of Louisiana, approved June 5, 1902.

Sworn to and subscribed before me this 2nd  day of  Sept 1933.
