There is a grave on Bell Road, Newellton, La (off Hwy 575 Newell 
Ridge Road) that contains only one marked grave, although it 
apparently contained more unmarked graves.  The marked grave is the 
grave of John Neathery who was born March 15, 1819, and died 
June 18, 1853.  He married Sarah Jane Brane on August 21, 1845 at 
the home of William Bell on Bell Plantation in Newellton.  The
