The lobby, foyer, and auditorium have all been done over in Marbelized decoration. The lobby resembles dark green marble, with blue stained glass panels in the door leading into the foyer. The marble effect in the foyer is particularly attractive, and the drop lights are tinted to give a soft and pleasing lighting effect. Panels on the walls of the auditorium are of a greenish hue, with stripes of red and a darker color for the wainscoting. Over the painting is spread a coat of transparent varnish which completes the marble imitation. Designs surround wall lights. The appearance of the theater is entirely changed and greatly improved. Newellton is proud of a finely appointed and decorated play house.
