Funeral services were held on May 20, 2000 at Young's Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday. Interment was at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Natchez, Mississippi. The Reverend Byron Norris officiated. Mrs. Gibson a native Louisianian was born on December 12, 1911. She was a retired U.S. Postal employee. Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband Roy Gibson and ____________ McClendon; and one son C. W. Winnsboro. She is survived by her son Bobby and Karen Enterkin of Waterproof, Louisiana; two daughters, Jean Seaman of Shreveport and Chubby Boyd of Jena and one brother, J.K. McClendon of Willis, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Serving the family as pallbearers were Allen Perritt, Vic Mahoney, Jr., Ken Mahoney, Claude Rabb, Brian Welch, and Randy Boyd. Vic Mahoney, Sr. served as Honorary Pallbearer.
