Richard Dean Goodwin, Sr.

     Funeral services were held for Robert Dean Goodwin Sr,.58, 
on September 19, 2001 in Newellton. Interment followed in Legion 
Memorial Cemetery, Newellton.

     Mr. Goodwin was born January 27, 1943 in Newellton and died 
September 17, 2001 in Winnsboro.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Maggie 
Goodwin, and by two brothers Louis and James G.

     He is survived by two children; Tammy G. Bailey and Richard 
D. Goodwin, Jr., both of Winnsboro; one sister Maybelle G. Cardin 
of Newellton,and four brothers: Charles Goodwin of Tullos, LA., 
Robert Goodwin, Harvey E. Goodwin and David L. Goodwin all of 
Newellton; two stepchildren and three grandchildren.
