Jack Gossett

     Funeral services were held for Mr. 
Jack Gossett, 89, of Newellton, on 
April 2, 2004 at Young’s Funeral Home 
in Ferriday. Interment followed in 
Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.

     Mr. Gossett died March 31, 2004 at 
Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.

     Surviving are his son James E. 
Gossett; three daughters, Mary Helen 
Garner of Newellton, Mildred G. Anglin 
of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Sarah G. 
Betsill of South Carolina; ten 
grandchildren; twenty one great 
grandchildren, and two great great 
grandchildren.
