James Nichols Gray

  Funeral services for James Nichols Gray, age 64, were
held June 27, 2001 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Internment was in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery near St.
Joseph.

  Mr. Gray died June 24, in the St Francis Medical Center
in Monroe after a lengthy illness.

  He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and lived in 
St. Joseph for 63 years.

  He was a veteran of the Korean war.

  He is survived by his wife, Gail B. Gray of St. Joseph;
two sons George W. Gray of St. Joseph; James N. Gray, Jr.
of Corpus Christi, Texas; two daughters Lucy G. Brown of
Monroe and Johanna G. Bishop of Dallas, Texas, one brother
Mike Gray of St. Joseph; eight grandchildren, Christopher, 
Anne and Robert Brown, Hannah and Riley Bishop, Erin and 
James N. III and Edward Gray; 2 step grandchildren, Sarah 
Brown and Ramsey Powell.
