Onis W. Grissom, Sr.

    Funeral services for Mr. Onis W. Grissom, Sr, 85, of 
St. Joseph, were held on September 4, 2003 in the chapel 
of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.  Interment was in 
Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.
    Mr. Grissom was born on April 10, 1918 in Ittawamba 
County, Mississippi.  He died on September 1, 2003.
    Mr. Grissom was preceded in death by his wife, Sara 
Parilee Grissom; his son Onis Grissom, Jr. and eight 
brothers and one sister.
    He is survived by his son Larry; eight grandchildren
and seven great grandchildren.
