Melissa Regina Hopkins

Funeral Services for Miss Melissa Regina Hopkins, 18, of Newellton 
were held on Tuesday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mulhearn Funeral 
Home Chapel in Winnsboro with Reverend Cook officiating. Interment 
was at Harris Cemetery near Crowville under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home.

Miss Hopkins died on Sunday, August 13, 2000 at her residence. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mr. Wesley F. Hopkins.  

Miss Hookins is survived by her parents, Jeannette and Jimmy Hopkins 
of Newellton and Douglas and Shirley LaBorde of Winnsboro; one 
brother, Jimmy Hopkins of Newellton; numerous Aunts and Uncles; her 
maternal grandparents Virgil and Jean Fussell and Mamie and Coleman 
Bamburg, all of Newellton; and her paternal grandmother, Faye Smith 
of Jena. 

Pallbearers were Rick Grey, Curtis Billmeier, James Bamburg, Roy 
Ezell, Charles Loyd and James Finley.
