Corean Marie Gray-Howard

     Funeral services were held on October 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Pilgrim 
Chapel Baptist Church in St. Joseph, Louisiana, interment followed in 
Union Fraternal Cemetery.
     Corean Marie Gray-Howard was born January 1, 1921 to Fairilla 
Rutland Gray and Joe Gray, Sr., and died on October 7, 2002 at the 
Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.
     She was preceded in death by her parents Fairilla Rutland Gray 
and Joe Gray, Sr.; her husband, Eddie L. Howard, Sr., and eldest son, 
Frank "June Gray" Ellis, Sr.
     Her survivors include one daughter, Maude Howard-Pollard of St. 
Joseph; one son, Eddie L. Howard, Jr. of Vicksburg, Mississippi; two 
sisters, Fairillia Gray Banks of St. Joseph and Armetta Gray 
Yarrington of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and one brother Jesse Bright of 
Los Angeles, California; twenty one grandchildren, twenty-five great 
grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
