Garland Orene Kirkpatrick

Funeral services for Garland Orene Kirkpatrick, age 78, of St. Joseph
were held on February 12 in the St. Joseph First Baptist Church.

Burial followed in the Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.

Mr. Kirkpatrick died February 10, 2001 at the North Monroe Hospital.

He was born in Hall Summit, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his son, John W. Kirkpatrick, Sr. and his
grandson, John W. Kirkpatrick, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Burson Wafer Kirkpatrick of St. Joseph;
one son, Ransdell Orene Kirkpatrick of Alexandria; one daughter Carolyn
Elaine Kirkpatrick of Epps; eight grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren;
three brothers, two sisters.
