Effie Walsworth Lofton

     Funeral services were held for Mrs. 
Effie Walsworth Lofton, 97, of St. Joseph 
at Young's Funeral Home on October 14, 2003. 
Interment followed at the Natchez City 
Cemetery.

     Mrs. Lofton died October 11, 2003 at 
Flannery Oak Guest House in Baton Rouge.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Edgar Lofton; her father, William Thomas 
Walsworth, her mother, Permelia Womack 
Walsworth; three brothers, Malory, David, 
and William C. Walsworth, Sr. and one sister, 
Mildred Haynes.  She is survived by five 
nieces and three nephews.
