Loyce Dixon Mason

Funeral services for Mrs. Loyce Dixon Mason, age 85, of Newellton, were
held January 3, 2001 in the Bethany Baptist Church, near Newellton.

Interment was in the Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.

Mrs. Mason died Sunday, December 31, 2000 at her residence.

She was born in Nat Albany, and had lived in Tensas Parish for 65 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hanford Wright Mason.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Hones of Houston, Texas and Anne
Penley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one sister, three brothers, four 
grandchildren and seven great-grand children.
