     Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Mae Trevillion Mathews of
Clayton, Louisiana were held on Friday October 29, 1999 at 10:00
a.m. at the Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday. The Reverend
Mack Walker officiated. Internment followed at Monclova Cemetery
near Waterproof, Louisiana.

     Mrs. Matthews passed away on Thursday October 28, 1999 at
Camelot Leisure Living Center in Ferriday.

     Mrs. Mathews was born July 26, 1924 to Harvey and Bessie J.
Trevillion in Waterproof, Louisiana. She was a resident of Clayton,
Louisiana since 1954 and a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quentin Mathews, Sr.
Mrs. Mathews is survived by two sons, Dr. Jerry Mathews of Auburn,
Alabama and Quentin Mathews of Ferriday, Louisiana, five grand-
children and two great-grandchildren.

      Pallbearers were Buck Mathews, Steven Lawrence, Chris Mathews,
Troy Trevillion, Ronnie Trevillion, and Luther Trevillion.
