Lucy Matthews Miller

     Funeral services for Lucy Matthews 
Miller, 78, of Waterproof were held of 
July 31, 2004 at Young’s Funeral Home 
Chapel in Ferriday. Interment was at 
Natchez City Cemetery.

     Mrs. Miller was born on August 9, 
1925 in Bude, Mississippi.  She died on 
July 29, 2004 at Natchez Regional 
Medical Center.

     Preceding her in death were her 
husband, Dalton W. Miller, Sr.; her 
parents, L. L. and Edolee Matthews; a 
sister Lilliam Schiele.

     Surviving her are three sons, 
Dalton W. Miller, Jr. of Louisville, 
Mississippi; Douglas Miller of 
Waterproof; and Mark of Vidalia; one 
sister Judith Brown of Natchez and nine 
grandchildren.
