Gladys E. Mize

ST. JOSEPH - Funeral servies for Mrs. Gladys E. Mize, 60, St. Joseph, 
were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 1993, in the chapel of 
Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday with Jerry Reed officiating.

Burial followed in the Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Natchez, Miss.

Mrs. Mize died February 11, 1993 in Monroe, following a brief illness.

She had been a resident of St. Joseph for the past 42 years and a former 
member of the Calvary Faith Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rube Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Mize, Sr. of St. Joseph; two sons, 
Terry Mize Jr. of St. Joseph and Nelson A. Mize of Kenner; four daughters, 
Mrs. Patricia E. Valentine and Mrs. Ruth Ll (sic); Addison, both of St. 
Joseph, Mrs. Mary N. Newsom of Delhi, and Mrs. Janet A. Skipper of Sicily 
Island; one brother, Clifton Allen of Niceville, Fla., three sisters, Mrs. 
Edna Davis of Valpariso, Fla., Mrs. Wilma Warren of Destin, Fla., and Mrs. 
Elma Fleck of Niceville, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren.

Pallbearers wre Chris Valentine, Paul Addison, Donnie Mize, Brian Kifer, 
Charels Tullos, Harold Jones and W.L. Tullos.
