L.C. Olds, Sr.

Funeral services for L.C. Olds, Sr., 85, of Waterproof were held at
Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday, on Monday, November 6, 2000.

Interment was in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.

Mr. Olds was born on November 6, 1914 in Sailes, Louisiana and died on
Saturday, November 4, 2000 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Grace V. Olds of Waterproof; three sons,
Lonnie Wayne Olds, Carl Frank Olds, Sr both of Waterproof and L.C. Olds
Jr. of Victoria, Texas; one daughter, Lela Gail Bozeman of St. Joseph;
one sister Mrs. Pauline Jiles of St. Joseph; one brother, J.R. Olds of
St. Joseph; twelve grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
