Harvey H. Patton, Jr.

Services for Harvey H. Patton, Jr., of Epps formerly of Newellton, 
were held on Friday, August 11, 2000 at 10:00 a. m. at the Riser 
First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Reverend Bob Hayes 
officiating. Interment followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery in 
Newellton under the direction of Riser First National Home of 
Winnsboro. 

Mr. Patton, 76, was born August 25, 1923 in Newellton and passed 
away on August 9, 2000 at his residence in Epps. He was a member 
of Epps First United Methodist Church. He was a Veteran of World 
War II. 

He was survived by his wife Pauline Meredith Patton of Epps two 
sons, Harvey H. Patton, III of Epps and William Meredith Patton 
of Houston, Texas; and twelve grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were Harvey Herd Patton, IV, George Paul Patton, 
Benjamin Brian Patton, Robert Wade Patton, Thomas Benson Patton, 
Patrick Michael Patton, David Andrew Patton and William Zachary 
Patton.
