Rosie M. Ricard

     Funeral Services for Rosie M. Ricard were held on 
December 31, 2003 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in 
St. Joseph.  Interment followed at Union Fraternal 
Cemetery in St. Joseph.

     Mrs. Ricard died on December 26, 2003, she was 
born to the late Zeke and Alberta Ross, Sr. on October 4, 1929.

     Preceding her in death was her husband Mauise Ricard, Sr. 

     Surviving are seven sons: Norvin Ricard of New Orleans, 
Herman Ricard of Baton Rouge, Mauise Ricard, Jr. of Tulsa, 
Oklahoma, Wilbert Scott of Ontario, California, Joseph Ricard 
of Waterproof, Lionel Ricard of Los Angeles, California and 
Shawn Ricard of Winnsboro; six daughters: Rose Pepp of New 
Orleans, Ethel Fry of San Francisco, California, Joyce Ricard 
of St. Joseph, Gwendolyn Christian of Alpharetta, Georgia, 
Beverly Ricard of Monroe and Franchesker Harris of Monroe; 
one brother, Clyde Ross of Tallulah; one sister, Fannie Williams 
of Las Vegas, Nevada; thirty four grandchildren; forty one 
great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

     Mrs. Ricard and her husband were the foster parents of more 
than twenty children.
