Visitation was held at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday on January 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2000 at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Reverend Roger Johnson officiating. Interment was held at the Monclova Cemetery near Waterproof, Louisiana. Mrs. Robertson resided in West Monroe for the past year and was formerly a resident of Waterproof. She was a member of the Monclova Baptist Church near Waterproof and a retired store clerk. Mrs. Robertson was born on May 16, 1916 in Arkansas to John Henry and Lou Ella Coleson Matthews, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. Robertson and here son Billy Robertson. She is survived by two daughters, Frances Bourgeois of Baton Rouge and Carol Beasley of West Monroe, three brothers, Billy Matthews of Lake Providence, John and James Matthews both of Tallulah, two sisters, Mattie Howard of Bastrop and Myrtle Floyd of Ferriday. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
