Mrs. Louise Rushing:

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Louise Rushing, 81, October 19, 
2000 at Waterproof Baptist Church.

Interment was in Monclova Cemetery  in Tensas Parish.

Mrs. Rushing was born on May 28, 1919 in Wilkinson Co., Mississippi and
died on October 17, 2000.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Rushing, Sr., a son
Daniel Slayday.

She is survived by her daughters; Mildred McDaniel of St. Joseph, Myrtis
Parker of Waterproof, Elizabeth Jones of Waterproof, Gertrude Cheatwood
of Conway, South Carolina, Sida Hale of Waterproof, Robert Rushing of
Waterproof, Danny Ray Rushing of St. Joseph, Louis Rushing of Newellton.
Stepsons, James Rushing  of Choudrant and  Dalton Rushing of Ruston.
Stepdaughters, Doris Padgett of Niceville Florida, and Virginia Turner
of Ruston, 28 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
