Dressie Scott

  Services for Dressie Scott, 88, of St. Joseph,
were held on July 22, 1993 at Myrtle Grove Baptist 
Church in Waterproof with the Rev. B.A. Irvin 
officiating.  

  Burial was in the Good Samaritan Cemetery under 
the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

  Survivors include: five daughters, Ophelia S. 
Hebrard of New Orleans, LA; Mary Lee Bass of 
Newellton LA; Hattie Hymon and Minnie Battle of 
Shreveport, LA; and Elizabeth Batiste of Waterproof, 
LA; six sons, Homer Scott Jr., of Baton Rouge, LA; 
Tillman Scott and Don Scott of Chicago, ILL.; the 
Rev. Nathaniel Scott of Winnfield, LA; and Thomas 
Scott and Robert Scott of St. Joseph, LA; three 
sisters, Rosetta Carter of Los Angeles, CALIF.; 
Annie Bell Shield of St. Joseph, LA; and Rose 
Alice Bishop of Great Lakes, ILL; one brother, 
Norman Ellis of Shreveport, LA; 64 grandchildren, 
nieces and nephews.
