HELEN RICE SCOTT 

   Graveside services were held for Mrs. Helen Rice Scott, 81, of 
St Joseph, December 31, 2003 in the Legion Memorial Cemetery in 
Newellton. Interment followed.

   Mrs. Scott died December 29, 2003 at Riverland Medical Center 
in Ferriday, she was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph.

   Surviving are four sons, John Wesley Scott, III of Farmington, 
Missouri, Gerald a Scott of St. Francisville, Fred E. Scott of St. 
Joseph and David W Scott of Shreveport; two grandchildren and one 
great granddaughter.
