Joyce Sikes

     Funeral services for Joyce Sikes,75, 
of St. Joseph formerly of Mangham, were held 
at First Baptist Church in Mangham. Interment 
was in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.
     Mrs. Sikes was born March 25, 1926 in East 
Carroll Parish and died February 10, 2002 in 
Newellton. 
     She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Edward E. "Ed" Sikes.
     Mrs. Sikes is survived by four children; 
one daughter Marilyn McKoin of Newellton; three 
sons, Roy Sikes of St. Joseph, Ernest of St. 
Joseph and Larry of Lafayette; Three sisters 
Dorothy Barnhill of Jena, Glenda May of Grayson 
and Wanda McGuffee of Jena, ten grandchildren 
and ten great grandchildren.
