Opal Dale Skinner

     Funeral services were held for Opal Dale 
Skinner, 52, February 9,2002 at The United 
Pentecostal Church. Interment followed in Legion 
Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.  
     Mrs. Skipper was born October 20, 1949.  She 
died February 7, 2002 at her son's home in St. 
Joseph.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 
Wiley Sutton Jones and Fannie Mae Jones, and a son 
Jason Cole Skipper.  
     Mrs. Skipper is  survived by her husband Bobby 
Skipper of Waterfproof; four sons Eric Skipper of 
Marksville, Roy Skipper and Scott Skipper, both of 
St. Joseph and Travis Skipper of Waterproof; four 
brothers; Don Jones of St. Joseph, James Jones of 
Waterproof, Ricky Jones & Robert Jones of St. Joseph; 
four sisters Donna Strahan & Lillie Garner of St.Joseph, 
Myrtis Crawley of Newellton and Trudy Herrington of 
Crowville and 5 grandchildren.
