NETTIE L. THIELE

     Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie L. Thiele, 89, of Newellton, 
were held Saturday, January 11, 2003 in the  First Baptist Church 
of Newellton.  Interment followed in Legion Memorial Cemetery in 
Newellton.

     Mrs. Thiele died Thursday, January 9 in the Natchez Community 
Hospital.  She was born in Warren, Arkansas.

     She was preceded in death by her son, Delbert Thiele.

     She is survived by one sister, Alice Merritt of North Little 
Rock, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
