Irena B. Waggoner
     Funeral services were held at the First Baptist 
Church in Newellton on January 17, 2002 for Irena B. 
Waggoner.  Interment followed at Legion Memorial 
Cemetery in Newellton.  Mrs. Waggoner died January 13, 
2002 at the Franklin Medical Center.
     Mrs. Waggoner was preceded in death by her husband, 
Walter H. Waggoner, her sons Thomas Buck Waggoner and 
Walter Waggoner; daughters Florence Waggoner, Dorothy W. 
Ramsey and Wanda W. Parsons; one grandson Harold Parsons Jr.
     She is survived by one brother W.J. Brewer of Minden, 
Louisiana, one sister Grace B. Novak, Little Rock, Arkansas 
and 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and four great-
great grandchildren
