Lue Bertha Evans Walker

     Funeral services were held for 
Mrs. Lue Bertha Walker, 80, on April 
24, 2004 at the Greater St. John 
Baptist Church in St. Joseph.

     Mrs. Walker died April 17, 2004 in 
Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was 
preceded in death by her husband, 
Ernest Walker, Jr.; her father Junius 
Evans and her mother Isabella Johnson.

     Mrs. Walker is survived by her 
children: Bertha Alford, Ernest Walker 
and E. Glenn Walker of Chattanooga, 
Tennessee; Linda Armstrong of 
Jonesboro, Georgia; Errol Walker of 
Dublin, Georgia; Edward Walker of St. 
Joseph and Eric Walker of Baton Rouge; 
twelve grandchildren, five great 
grandchildren; one sister Ellen Earl 
Gray; three brothers, Henry Banks, 
Junius Evans and Albert Evans.
