Jewel Westbrook Walton

     Funeral services for Jewel 
Westbrook Walton, 77, of Newellton, 
were held April 20, 2004 at Bethany 
Baptist Church in Newellton.  Interment 
was in Legion Memorial Cemetery in 
Newellton.

     Mrs. Walton was born to the union 
of Dan and Mamie Burns Westbrook on 
April 19, 1927.  She died on April 16. 
2004 in Monroe, Louisiana.

     Surviving are her son, James 
Robert Walton, Jr of Monroe; her sister 
Lodell Arnold of Alexandria; and two 
granddaughters.
