All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Funeral services for Mr. Ezekiel Charles Wesley, Jr. were held on January 14, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newellton Chapel Church with Reverend Robert Lee, Jr. officiating and Sister Gwen Turner serving as the Mistress of Ceremonies. Interment was at the Union Cemetery in Newellton, Louisiana under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Brother Ezekiel Charles "Bobo" Wesley, Jr. was born in Tensas Parish on Friday, June 13, 1924 to the union of Brother Ezekiel Charles Wesley, Sr. and Hattie Poindexter Wesley. On Friday, January 7, 2000, Brother Wesley moved out of this cold, friendless, dark world into eternal and heavenly delight. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Evelyn Mack. He is survived by a loving companion, Ella Mae Brown of Newellton, Louisiana; One sister Willie B. Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; one son, Ernest "Kevin" Robinson of Vicksburg, Mississippi; six daughters, Mary Queen of Detroit, Michigan; Margaret Ann Wesley of Los Angeles, Calif- ornia; Betsy Cashmere of Biloxi, Mississippi; Sandra Elaine Wesley, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Mary Louise Wesley of Newellton; and Martha Ann Brown of Dallas, Texas; two stepchildren, Eddie Lee Brown of Houston, Texas and Diana Watson of Dallas. He is also survived by a cousin, Mary White of Newellton, three grandsons, seven granddaughters, three great-grandchild- ren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and acquain- tances. Serving the family as pallbearers were Elaine Wattley, Ernest "Kevin" Robinson, Jimmy Wesley, Danny Clark, Eddie Brown, and Frank Bryant. Honorary pallbearers were the Brothers and Deacons of the Newellton Chapel Baptist Church.
