     ROBICHAUX-BURGESS

          Kirk and Janet Robichaux of Houma announce the engagement of their  

      daughter, Nikki Leigh Robichaux, to Chad Everette Burgess, son of Billy Burgess

      of Houma and Rosalind Nelton of Montegut.

          The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. Sept. 21, 2001, at St. Gregory

      Barbarigo Church in Houma.

          The future bride is the grand-daughter of Roy Robicheaux of Montegut,

      the late Mary Neil Robicheaux, and Violet and Laban Robichaux of Chauvin.

          She is a 1998 graduate of Petal High School in Petal, Miss. and is

      employed by Terrebonne General Medical Center.

          The prospective groom is the grand
son of the late Billy and Simonne

      Burgess and the late Melton and Anna Mae Nelton.

          He is a 1993 graduate of South Terrebonne High School and is employed

      by Geri LeBlanc Pontiac, Buick, GMC.

     

     

     GUIDRY-DAVID

          Warren and Stella Guidry of Crowley and Michael and Christine Brunet of

      Thibodaux, announce the engagement of their daughter Christy Marie Guidry, to

      Jerad Phillip David, son of Leo and Joanne David of Thibodaux.

          The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. Sept. 28, 2001, at St. Joseph

      Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux.

          The future bride is the grand-daughter of Hebert and Allie Dhuet of

      Houma, the late Lydia Dhuet and Curtis and Eula Mae of Lafayette.

          She is a 1997 graduate of Thibodaux High School and a 2001 graduate of

      Nicholls State University.

          She is employed by J. Wayne Rouse, attorney at law.

          The prospective groom is the grandson of Hugh and Mildred Rouen of

      Gray, the late Wesley David and the late Shirley David.

          He is a 1996 graduate of H. L. Bourgeois High School and a 2000

      graduate of Nicholls State University.

          He is employed by Nicholls State University.
