     CHAMPAGNE-MANLEY
          Betty Guilbeau and Bobby Champagne of Houma, announce the
      engagement of their daughter, Suzanne Mary Champagne, to Michael Aaron
      Manley, son of Milton and Lorraine Manley of Silas, Ala.
          The couple will exchange vows on March 23, 2002, at St. Mary's Catholic
      Church in Mobile.
          The future bride is a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and a
      graduate of the University of South Alabama with a bachelors degree in
      education.
          The prospective groom is a graduate of B.C. Rain High School in Mobile
      and attends the University of South Alabama, majoring in business management
     

     
     DARDAR-AUTHEMENT
          Daniel and Gayle Dardar of Houma announce the engagement of their
      daughter, Michelle Danielle Dardar, to Carl Joseph Authement, son of Susan Price
      of Chauvin and the late Carl Authement Jr.
          The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Nov. 17, 2001, at East Park
      Recreation Center.
          The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Justillian and Lena Pitre
      and the late Wilsey and Virginia Dardar.
          She is a senior at Terrebonne High School.
          The prospective groom is the grandson of Carl and Elaine Authement and
      Jerry and Janice Naquin..
          He is employed by Settoon Marine Towing.

          Kathy Cheramie of Houma announces the engagement of her daughter,
      Nikki Marie Cheramie Richard, to Mark Joseph Thibodeaux, son of Lloyd and
      Sheila Thibodeaux of Chauvin.
          The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Oct. 20, 2001, at Annunziata
      Church of Houma.
          The future bride is the grand-daughter of Gustave A. Cheramie and the
      late Virley Pierce Cheramie.
          She is a 1993 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School and a 1997
      graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans.
          She is employed by Terrebonne-Parish School Board.

ospective groom is the grandson of Normand and Melva Smith and
      the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Thibodeaux.
          He is a 1986 graduate of South Terrebonne High School and a 1998
      graduate of Nicholls State University.
