          Mr. and Mrs. Philip B. Fanguy of Houma announce the engagement of

      their daughter, Myra Rebecca Fanguy, to Jody P. Dover, son of Loretta M. Dover

      of Houma and.the late Jerry D. Dover Sr.

          The couple will exchange vows in May of 2001.

          The future bride is the granddaughter of Elwin J. Duplantis, the late Erline

      E. Duplantis, Adeline H. Fanguy and the late Stephen J. B. Fanguy.

          She is a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and a graduate of

      McNeese State University in Lake Charles.

          The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry J.

      Malbrough, and the late
 Mr. and Mrs. John C. Dover.

          He is a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School.

     

     GUIDRY-BABIN

          Glenn and Mary Guidry and Doug Penson, all of Houma, announce the  

      engagement of their daughter, Crystal Marie Guidry, to Shane Anthony Babin,

      son of Ricky Babin and Kathy Smith of Houma. 

          The couple will exchange vows at 1 p.m. May 19, 2001, at St. Bernadette

      Catholic Church.

          The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Buras, Mr.

      and Mrs. Lloyd Penson and Paulite Guidry.

          She is a 1998 graduate of Central Lafourche High School.

          The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Babin, and

      Roberta Wasdin.   He is employed by Global X-Ray.

          Ronald Joseph Doucet and Glenna  Mondart Doucet announce the         

      engagement of their daughter, Suthern Lynn Doucet, to Glenn Joseph

      'Thibodeaux Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Joseph Thibodeaux, Sr.

          The couple will exchange vows at 7:30 p.m. May 25,2001, at Our Lady of

     Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.

          The future bride is the granddaughter of Willie Mae Doucet, the late Ejay

     Doucet, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Mondart Jr.

          She is a 1996 graduate of
 Vandebilt Catholic High School and attends

     Louisiana State University.

     

          The prospective groom is the grandson of Phyllis Thibodeaux, the

     late Fred Thibodeaux, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Badeaux.

          He is a 1994 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and a 1999

      graduate of Louisiana State University.

          Wade Joseph Pitre of Galliano and Lisa Ann Ledet Pitre of Golden

      Meadow announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Theresa Pitre, to

      Scott Michael Vice, son of Perry John Vice and Barbara Johnson Vice, both of

      Houma.

          The future bride is the granddaughter of Hewitt and Isabel Rebstock Ledet

      of Golden Meadow, Marie Martin Pitre of Galliano and the late Gilbert Pitre.

      Nicholls State University.

          The prospective groom is the grandson of Barbara Pellegrin Johnson of
