          Jerome and Elaine Fabre of Bourg announce the engagement of their
      daughter, Rebecca Alane Fabre, to Clifford Anthony Hay, son of Richard and
      Jenny Hay of Baton Rouge.
          The couple will exchange vows at 1p.m. Feb. 2, 2002, at the Livng Word
      Church in Houma.
          The future bride is the grand-daughter of Wills Boquet Sr. and Eula Mae
      Boquet, and Curtis and Cecile Fabre of Bourg.
          She is a 1993 graduate of South Terrebonne High School, a 1997 graduate
      of Nicholls State University and a 2000 graduate of Paul M. Hebert Law Center at
      Louisiana State University.
          She is employed by the 19th Judicial District Court Judge Jewel E."Duke"

      Welch.
          The prospective groom is. the grandson of Floyd and Rose Bryan of
      Metairie, the late L. M. Hay and Emmadel Hay of Franklin.
          He is a 1993 graduate of John Curtis Christian School in New Orlems and
      a 1997 graduate of the College of Engineering at Louisiana State University
          He is employed by Ohmstede Ltd.
     
     
     TRAHAN-FREEMAN
          Mr. and Mrs. Howard Trahan of Houma announce the engagement of their
      daughter, Patricia Ann Trahan, to Larry J. Freeman Jr., son of Larry J. Freeman
      Sr. and Lana M. Hebert of Houma.
          The couple will exchange vows at 7p.m. Jan. 25, 2002, at Evergreen Cajun
      Center.
          She is a 2000 graduate of H. L Bourgeois High School.

          Harmon and Ruth White of Yazoo City, Miss., announce the engagement
      of their daughter, Laura Marie White, to Corey Andrew Lonviere, son of Milton
      J. and Norma Louviere of Houma.

      Church.
          The future bride is the grand-daughter, of  Inez Carley of Yazoo City and
      the late Aaron Carley.
