Jerry Darcey of Chauvin and Gertie Bergeron of Houma announce the engagement of 
their daughter, Valerie Marie Darcey, to Keith Michael Verdin, son of Lawrence 
Verdin of Dulac and Susan Alario of Houma.

The couple will exchange vows at 1 p.m. Nov. 20, 2004, at St. Bernadette 
Catholic Church.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Ferris Sr. and Lorraine Ledet of Houma, 
and Jerry Sr. and Janet Darcey of Chauvin.

She is a 2003 graduate of Terrebonne High School and attends Nicholls State 
University.

She is employed by Shoe Show Inc.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Roland and Rita Toups of Theriot, and 
Evans Sr. and Leah Verdin of Dulac.

He is a 2001 graduate of Ellender Memorial High School.

He is employed by Hornbeck Offshore Services Inc.
