Steib-Deroche

Norman Steib and Martha Rougeau Steib of Thibodaux announce the engagement of 
their daughter, Dawn Marie Steib, to Eric John Deroche, son of Ivy and Katherine 
Deroche of Houma.

The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. Oct. 15, 2004, at St. Genevieve Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux.

The future bride is the granddaughter the late Edward and Isabel Rougeau, and 
the late Frank and Edna Steib.

She is a 1993 graduate of Thibodaux High School and a 2001 graduate of Nicholls 
State University.

She is employed as an Intake Coordinator at EarlySteps.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Norris and Adeline Samanie of Bayou 
Blue, Ivy Deroche Sr. of Lafayette and Dorothy Deroche of Gibson.

He is a 1997 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School and a 2001 graduate of South 
Louisiana Technical College.

He is employed as a drafter at T. Baker Smith and Son and is a teacher at 
Fletcher Technical Community College.
