Bray of Bastrop, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa B. Lavergne, to Wilfred "Freddie" LeBlanc, son and stepson of Day and Marlene Jewell and son of Allen J. LeBlanc of Houma. The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16, 2004, at First United Methodist Church in Houma. The future bride is the granddaughter of Berylynn Spyker, the late William Henry Spyker and Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Bray of Bastrop. She attended the University of Louisiana and is a graduate of McNeese State University with an Associate of Arts degree with a major in pre-law studies. She is self-employed business owner and a charter member of the National Women Business Owner's Association. The prospective groom is the grandson of Wilma Boudreaux, the late Willis Boudreaux and Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Bergeron of Houma. He attended H.L. Bourgeois High School and is a pipeline welder for the International Core Group for Global Industries Inc.
