Arthur LeBlanc, the capable manager of the Ashland plantation in Terrebonne parish, contains the interesting news that a fine baby boy arrived at his home Thursday morning, July 29, and that both mother and child are doing nicely. "This makes my third son." writes Mr. LeBlanc, "and I hope, at the next election, to swell the Progressive majority. Crops are doing well, but need a rain very badly." Congratulations upon the arrival of the new-comer in the LeBlanc household will be extended by the many friends of the proud parents in this community.
