The fitted bodice featured a strap-less Mikado bodice framed by a double-row of green and yellow piping. The bodice also featured a button-looped back closure. The slightly-dropped waistline dipped into a gentle curve at the back. The embroidered organza skirt was fully-gathered and embellished by rhinestones that helped to high-light the floral pattern of the embroidery. A- nosegay of pastel colored hand made silk flowers punctuated the center back waist of the gown. The bride carried an old English styled garden bouquet of one and one half dozen Anna roses. The bridesmaids' bouquets were Victorian garden-styled hand-held elegant sterling silver Virginia and Anna roses tied with organza ribbon. There were more than 1,000 roses in the wedding. Flowers were by Blooming Orchid. The church was a recreation of an old English garden consisting of roses, heather, wax, stattice, caspia, silver dollar eucalyptus and spring fern. The bride's cake was a four-tier confection topped with a bouquet of pastel roses with smaller arrangements of roses on each tier. The cake was displayed on a silver cake plateau surrounded by more roses, ivory tulle and pearls. The table was sprinkled with pastel rose petals. The groom's cake was a square three-tier devil's food cake with milk chocolate basket weave icing. Each layer was then outlined by chocolate dipped strawberries. The couple will reside in Houma.
