The bride is the daughter of Richard and Tina Chauvin of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norris Theriot, Mack Chauvin of Houma and the late Una Richard Chauvin. Parents of the groom are Harvie and Susie Hamilton Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harvie Hamilton Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. John Hollinshead Sr. The Rev. Mark Toups officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. WINDER-HUGES Melissa Louise Winder of Houma and David Ray Hughes of Mobile, Ala., were married at 6:30 p.m. June 23, 2001, at St. Joseph's Chapel in Mobile. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Winder Jr. of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Guidry of Houma, Jean Winder and the late Charles Winder Sr. Parents of the groom are Mr. and 'Mrs. C. Ray Hughes of Mobile. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs, Phil McNiff of Tampa, Fla., Betty Hughes and the late Cecil Hughes. The Rev. Jesus Rodriguez, SJ,, officiated at the ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a strapless white silk sat in gown that featured a fitted draped bodice, a dropped waist and a full skirt that flowed into a chapel-length train. Her white satin pleated crown held a fingertip-length veil of silk illusion. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white, pink and lavender-tipped French tulips. Serving in the wedding were Emily Claire Guidry, maid of honor; and Candace Winder Benoit, Meredith Winder Ledet, Catherine Alexis Straatrnann, Kathym Tish Grifo and Carolyn Hughes, maids. A reception was given by the couple's parents at Stewarffield, Spring Hill College in Mobile. The couple will reside in Mobile. QUINILTY-TELIHO Laura Adele Quinilty of Atlanta, Ga., and Brian Keith Teliho of Atlanta were married at 4 p.m. June 16, 2001, at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Quinilty of Houma. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Vicknair, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leus Quinilty. Parents of the groom are Camille Affuso of Marlboro, N.Y., and John Tel iho of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He is the grandson of the late Paul and Rose Affuso, Mrs. Eniil Teliho and the late Mr. Teliho. The Rev. David A Boileau officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal diamond white organza gown that featured a portrait neckline, a fitted, beaded bodice accented with Alencon lace appliques at the waist and an A-fine skirt that flowed into a cathedral-length train. Her jeweled headpiece held a cathedral-length veil topped with a fingertip-length veil and a blusher-length veil. She carried a clutch bouquet of white roses accented with stephanotis. Serving in the wedding were Ann Marie Quinilty, maid of honor; and Elaine Quinilty, Catherine Quinilty, Rachel Davis, Susan Chipperfield, Amber McConnell, Lesley France and Enrica Toccaceli, maids. FORET -DEAN Hollie Foret and Ross Dean, both of Chauvin, were married at 2 p.m. May 5, 2001, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. The bride is the daughter of Oneal and Sue-Sue Foret of Chauvin. She is the granddaughter of the late Eugene and Josephine Foret, and the late Sidney and Bernice Smith. Parents of the groom are Ross and Aline Dean of Houma. He is the grandson of Edgar and Margie Davaine of Dulac, and the late Clarence and Marie Dean. The Rev. Fredric J. Brunet officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. Serving in the wedding were Mavis Lyons, maid of honor; Janet Chauvin, Dolores Koenig, Rosalyn Dean, Sue Ann DeFelice, Kelfie Lirette and Angela Dean, maids; Brittney Lyons and Chantell Foret, junior maids; and Sarah Foret, flower girl.
