The bride is the daughter of Denny and Judy Toups of Donner. She is the granddaughter of Mr, and Mrs. Emile Bourgeois Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Toups. Tim Lawson officiated at the ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal ivory pri ncess-styled Duchess satin gown that featured and empire bodice of re-embroidered alencon lace embellished with pearls and sequins, a V-neckline, short sleeves with cut lace detailing and an A-line skirt detailed with scalloped lace trim that flowed into a cathedral-length train. Her tiara of alencon lace decorated with pearls and sequins held a double-tier fingertip-length veil of bridal illusion. Serving in the wedding were Dawn Tyler, matron of honor; Danielle Gautreaux, Melissa Tabor, Michelle Gautreaux and Tina Fanguy, maids; Megan Tyler, junior maid; and Macie Gautredux, flower girl. CHAISSON-AUTHEMENT Tracie Chaisson and Jason Authement, both of Houma, were married at 7 p.m. June 22, 2001, at the CWA Hall in Houma. Justice of the Peace, Kenneth Hammner officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal white princess-styled gown that featured a fitted beaded bodice with short lace sleeves and a full satin skirt that flowed into a cathedral-length train accented with beaded appliques. Her matching headpiece held a double-tier veil of bridal illusion edged with appliques and beads. She carried a bouquet of white roses surrounded with green ivy and entwined with her rosary and her late grandmother's wedding rings. Serving in the wedding were Lynn Chaisson, matron of honor; Heidie Green, maid of honor; Christie Bourg, Danielle Leonard, Melissa Authement, Misty Lewis and Candace Chaisson, maids; and Hannah Chaisson, flower girl. The bride wore a sleeveless pearl white formal gown that featured a bateau neckline and a dropped back neckline, a fitted bodice embellished with pearls, bugle beads and appliques. Appliques also surrounded the hemline and back split. The chapel-length train was also decorated with beaded appliques. She wore elbow-length gloves featuring the same design as the dress. Her tiara of pearls and beads held a double-tier elbow-length pearl-white veil of bridal illusion. She carried a presentation bouquet of one dozen red roses. The cathedral-length veil of imported illusion was edged in ribbon and held in place with a hair comb. Her bouquet of one dozen pink-tipped sweetheart roses was accented with butter cream stock, purple hydrangea and entwined with the bride's grandmother's rosary.
