The bride is the daughter of Brian and Tuteeca Buttery of Jacksonville. She is the granddaughter of the late William and Beatrice Buttery, and Carolyn and Jim Selman of Jacksonville. Parents of the groom are Johnie Lee and Steve Crochet of Houma. He is the grandson of Mary and John Pizzolatto of Houma and the late Moran and Louise Crochet. The Rev. Bruce Kelenhofer officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal white, off-the-shoulder satin gown embellished with appliques of European lace, tiny-pearls and crystal beading. The back of the gown was shoe-laced with a prone back skirt which had a detachable illusion cathedral-length train, adorned with matching appliques with a scalloped hemline. Her matching headpiece was a halo, with three rows of pearls arranged as clusters of roses with a touch of gold accent and held a double-tiered floor-length veil of illusion. She carried a cascading fresh bouquet with hints of pink and lavender spring flowers, roses and ivy. Serving in the wedding were Lela Buttery, maid of honor; Aimee Gunderson and Jennifer Dedrick, maids; and Sarah Jones, flower girl. Jason Crochet was best man; Bo Crochet and James Pizzolatto, groomsmen; and Joshua Jones, ring bearer. A reception was given by the bride's parents at the Ocean Breeze Reception Hall in Mayport Beach, Fla. The three-tier traditional cake was decorated with Victorian ruffles and fresh flowers. The groom's cake was a chocolate crayfish design with a dumbbell in its claw. The couple will reside in Oklahoma City, Okla. BLA NCHARD-CROCHET Brandy Blanchard and Colby Crochet were married at 7 p.m. June 8, 2001, at Annunziata Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Randy and Jeanetta Blanchard of Pointe-aux-Chenes. She is the granddaughter of Roger and Emelda Naquin, and Linward and Alice Mae Blanchard of Pointe-aux-Chenes. Parents of the groom are Buddy Crochet and Ronnie Fazzio of Houma. He is the grandson of Hazel Falgout, Douglas Duet and Louise Crochet of Houma, and the late Moran Crochet. The Rev. Lonnie Cheramie officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal white satin gown with delicate cap sleeves and empire bodice that was embellished with re-embroidered alecon lace sprinkled with pearls and shimmering sequins and featured a sweetheart neckline. The a-line skirt was trimmed with alecon lace detailing at the hemline and flowed into a cathedral-length train edged with scalloped lace trimming. Her tiara-style headpiece held a double-tier of bridal illusion. Serving in the wedding were Angie Foret, matron of honor; Tessie Griffin, maid of honor; Buffy Crochet and Starry Naquin, maids; Raelyn Blanchard, junior mai d; and Krista Foret, flower girl. Mickey Rogers was best man; Chad Blanchard, Jason Triche and Ethan Russell, groomsmen; Greg Champagne, junior groomsman; Damain and Dominick Naquin, ring bearers; and Mark Blanchard and Gene Hidden, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's parents at East Park Recreation Center. The couple will reside in Houma.
