The bride is the daughter of Priscilla Wilson of Pineville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Wilson Jr. of Marksville. Parents of the groom are Mike Westbrook of Gray and Sue Westbrook of Thibodaux. He is the grandson of Velma Breaux Falgout and the late Wilson Breaux of Thibodaux, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Oliver Westbrook of Raceland. Dr. Tommy Harrell officiated at the double ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, J.C. Wilson Jr. The bride wore a formal white satin gown adorned with pearls and sequin enhanced with alecon lace with triple spaghetti straps, a basque waist, and a full skirt flowing into a cathedral length train. Her matching headpiece of alencon lace was accented with sequins and pearls and held a double-tier veil of bridal illusion. Serving in the wedding were Tara Wilson, maid of honor, Jenny Wilson, Michelle Jones, Sarah Gallagher, Jennifer Dyer, and JoAnna Breaux, maids. Mike Westbrook was best man; Mike Westbrook was best man; George Nagy, Matthew Mundy, Brian Peterson, Donny Bourgeois, and Timothy Gallagher, groomsmen; Craig DeGravelle, Rhett Zeringue, Andy Russ, Jay Fakier, Brandon Daigle, and Benji Bailey, ushers. A reception was given at Ellendale Country Club. The couple will reside in Houma. GUIDRY-SINS April Ann Guidry of Houma and Christopher George Sins of Kiln, Miss. were married at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral of Houma. She is the daughter of Michael and Bernita Guidry of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Claire Guidry and the late Ray F Guidry of Houma, and the la te Mr. and Mrs. Mack A. Thibodaux of Houma. Parents of the groom are George and Bonnie Sins of Kiln, Miss. He is the grandson of Mrs. Audrey Sins and the late George E. Sins Sr. of Mandeville, and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Toups of Luling. Monsignor Joseph N. Latino, V.G. officiated at the double ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal ivory royal satin gown with a square neck front and low cut back with princess line, enhanced with pearls and crystals adorned with a chapel train. Her tiara of pearls and crystals held a cathedral length veil of sheer bridal illusion. She carried a garden clutch bouquet of white roses accented with heather and greenery. Serving in the wedding were Jessica Chauvin, maid of honor; Trena Sins, Anne Salsbury, Katherine Tieken, and Mary Defraites, maids; and Sarah Elizabeth Naquin, flower girl. Joe Green was best man; Jeffery Sins, Dennis Sins, Clint Guidry, and Jason Mareno, groomsmen; Logan Joseph Gautreaux, ring bearers; and Bart Guidry and David Burdette, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's parents at the Woodmen of the World Hall. The four-tier traditional wedding cake was decorated w ith roses and fresh spring flowers. The couple will reside in Gonzales. HACKWORTH-SAVOIE Jennifer Hackworth of Raceland and Joey Savoie also of Raceland were married at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8,2001, at St. Hilary Church in Mathews. The bride is the daughter of Janette Hackworth and the late Eugene Hackworth of Raceland. Father Danny Porche officiated at the double ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by Michael Hackworth. The bride wore a formal ivory beaded gown that flowed into a sheer train. Her pearl comb headpiece held a double-tier veil of bridal illusion. She carried a clutch bouquet of assorted ivory and yellow roses accented with greenery. Serving in the wedding were Amy Breaux, maid of honor; and Jan Talarno and Heidi Guidry, maids. A reception was given by the couple and their families at the American Legion.Hall in Lockport. The traditional cake was decorated with yellow roses. The couple will reside in Raceland.
