The bride is the daughter of Diane Vice Daigle and Ernest P Daigle of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Tillie Vice, the late James Vice, and the late Ivy Mae and Ernest J. Daigle. Parents of the groom are Mary Diane Bueche and Cyrus Theriot Jr.of' Theriot. He is the grandson of the late Stella and Lawrence Bueche, and the late Gertie and Cyrus Theriot Sr. The Rev. Patrick O'Brien officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her f ather. The bride wore a formal white satin gown with sweetheart neckline and pearled bodice with full skirt accented with lace appliques. Serving in the wedding were Jennifer Kryvanick, maid of honor; Jenny Daigle and Nicole Olivier, maids; and Taylor Williams, flower girl. Richard Chaisson was best man; Todd Daigle and Damon Theriot, groomsmen; Jacob Daigle, ring bearer, and Kennie Vice and Kenneth Adams, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's parents at Evergreen Cajun Center. The couple will reside in Houma. DUFRENE-DUFRENE Madonna Elizabeth Dufrene and Edward Joseph Dufrene III were married in late August. The bride is the daughter of Kim and Elizabeth Dufrene. She is the granddaughter of Arthur Dufrene, the late Betty Dufrene, and Early and Lou Rogers. Parents of the groom are Edward and Susen Dufrene Jr. He is the grandson of the late Edward Dufrene Sr., June Dufrene, and the late Natal Ougel and Hazel Ougel. SEVENKER-FRIZZELLl Susan Renee' Sevenker and Bradley Gene Frizzell were married Sept. 8, 2001, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Metairie. The biide is th daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Larry E. Sevenker of Kenner. She is the granddaughter of Blanche Sevenker of Lincoln, Neb., the late Emanuel Sevenker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Loles Trosclair. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gene Frizzell of Lafayette. He is the grandson of Janice Bazor, the late William 'Bill' Vince and the late Linda FrizzeD. The Rev. RICAU-KIDDER Renee Ricau and Shannon Kidder were married at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 2001, at St. Agnes Church in Baton Rouge. The bride is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Jack Ricau Jr. of Baton Rouge. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Marcel of Houma, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Ricau. Parents of the groom are Esther Kidder of Lakeland, Fla. and the late Stanislaus Kidder Jr. The Rev. Daniel Walsh officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. A reception was given by the bride's parents at Boudreaux's. The couple will reside in Baton Rouge. LONG-EVANS Melody Ann Long and Hulett Edward Evans IV were married at 3 p. m. July 14, 2001, at Eminence Christian Church in Atlanta, Ill.. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Uz Long of Atlanta. Parents of the groom are Hulett and Carroll Evans of Willis, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Davis and Rita Dubois, and Cecile Evans. The Revs. Andy Gloss and Larry Snyder officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore a formal white satin gown with off the shoulder sleeves, v-neck accented with pearls and fitted bodice and full skirt. Her matching headpiece was accented with sequins in the veil. She carried a tear drop bouquet of white roses accented with greenery. Serving in the wedding were Naomi Bensdorf, maid of honor; Cindy Johnson and Sarah Sandidge, maids; and Andi and Stephanie Long; flower girls. Davis Evans was best man; Doug Long and Brian Long, groomsmen; Joe Barnes, Brett Dorko and Andrew Hoinacki, ushers; and Robert Long, ring bearer. A reception was held at the Moose Lodge in Lincoln, Ill.. The four-tier traditional cake was accented with scalloped frosting. The couple will reside in Conroe, Texas.
