The bride is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Leonard Oncale Jr. of Gheens. She is the granddaughter of Iris Clement, the late Whitney Element Louise Oncale of Chackbay and the late Leonard Oneale Sr. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Robichaux, Sr. of Labadieville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Carmouche and the late Mr. and Mrs.Sterling Robichaux Sr. The Rev. Justin Brown officiated at the ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her fat her. Serving in the wedding were Jeri Leblanc, matron of honor, and Francis Robichaux, best man. A reception was given at the Golden Ranch Plantation in Gheens. The couple will reside in Labadieville. WEISHEIT-SMITH Kelly Ann Weisheit of Houma and Jason Bradley Smith of Huntsville, Ala., were martied at 6 p.m. Aug. 25, 2001 at First United Methodist Church of Houma. The bride is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Edward N. Weisheit Jr. of Houma. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gervais Joseph Domangue, Beatrice ButcherWeisheit of Covington and the late Edward N. Weisheit Sr. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wayne Smith of Logan,Utah. He is the grandson of the late Mr.and Mrs. Ulysis Grant Carr of Albertville, Ala., Eloise Smith of Albertville and the late R.C. Smith. The Revs. Carole Cotton Winn and John Winn officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore a formal white silk gown with a fitted pointed drop waist. The strapless bodice was adorned with beaded pearls and sequins and flowed into a full skirt with cathedral length train. Her silver crown headpiece of beaded pearls and rhinestones held a cathedral-length veil of double-tier bridal illusion. She carried a presentation bouquet of long stemmed lip-stick roses accented with greenery. Serving in the wedding were Keri Weisheit Landrieu, matron of honor; Jena Weisheit Ginger Pierce Price, Kelly Champagne Levasseur, Mehm Lambert, Alicia Stewart and JoWilliams, maids; LeAnne "Adele" Weisheit, Kristen, Ashley and Katie Landrieu, junior maids; and Hannah and Rachel Smith, flower girls. Gerald Wayne Smith was best man; Mark and Randall Smith, Karl and Keith Weisheit, and Maurice Landrieu, groomsmen; Evan and Hayden Fustachy and Jonathan and K.J. Weisheit, ring bearers; and Karl and Keith Weisheit, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's parents at EIlendale Country Club. The three-tier cake was adorned with coral and yellow roses. The groom's cake was topped with chocolate-dipped strawberries. The couple will reside in San Antonio, Texas. DEFELICE-DONALDSON Stacy Defefice of Bourg and Larry Donaldson III of Houma, were married at 7 p.m. Oct. 5, 2001, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. The bride is the daughter of Brian and Linda Defefice of Bourg, She is the gr anddaughter of Roland Vincent Defelice, the late Lucy Authement Defelice, and the late Herbert James Neil and Doris LeBouef Neil. Parents of the groom are Larry and Dottie Donaldson of Houma. He is the grandson of Larry James Donaldson Sr. and Alice Domangue Donaldson, and Anthony Potero and Georgia Brock Potero. The Rev. Peter Lee officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a white satin short-sleeve off-the-shoulder a-line gown adorned with hand-sewn pearls and accented at the back waist with white satin roses. Her matching headpiece held a waist-length veil of double-tier bridal illusion and was accented with white satin roses and pearls. She carried a traditional round bouquet of mixed white roses accented with greenery and sheer lace. . Serving in the wedding were Cassie Fanguy, matron of honor; Lawanda Johnson, Angel Bascle, Christina Lyons, Rachael Hebert, Sue Ann Defelice and Holly Redmond, maids, and Alicia Vaughn Johnson, flower girl. Troy Autin was best man; Jamie Hebert, Blair Thibodaux, Robert Caillouet, Jamie Defelice, Nykee Johnson and Matthew LaBruyere, groomsmen; Caleb Defelice, ring bearer; and Eric Defefice and J ason Brunet, ushers. A reception was given by the parents of the couple at the American Legion Post No. 380 in Chauvin. The three-tier basket-weave cake was surrounded by six smaller cakes accented with roses. The couple will reside in Houma.
