The bride is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Kenneth Domangue of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Ray Theriot and the late Harold Theriot of Houma and Paul and Josie Domangue, of Houma. ` Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Mark Babin of Houna. He is the grandson of Yvonne and Harold Thibodaux of Houma and Carolyn Babin and the late Melvin Babin also of Houma. The Rev. Lonnie Cheramie officiated at the double ring ceremony in which the bride w as given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal strapless ivory gown with a fitted bodice accented with pearl beading and box pleated skirt that flowed into a sweep. Her matching headpiece held a double tier veil of bridal illusion accented with pearls and crystals. Serving in the wedding were Nekki Dupre, maid of honor; Kathy Mazarac, Kayla Landry and LaurenWilliams, maids; and Kensey Tbibodaux and Kameron Mazerac, flower girls. Bradley Babin was best man; Drew LeCompte, Mike Kreller, and Kenneth Domangue Jr., groomsmen; Kenneth Domangue III, ring bearer; and Keith Mazarac and Chiis Pontiff, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's parents at the Houma Municipal Auditorium. The three-tier ivory cake was accented with handmade fondont dogwood blossoms. The groom's cake was decorated with a hunting theme. The couple will reside in Houma. ANDERSON-GRIFFIN Kathleen Anderson of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mitchell Griffin were married at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at New Orleans Wedding Chapel in New Orleans. The bride is the daughter of Mary 'Pat' Ramos of Saratoga, Wyo. and Harlan "Bud" Anderson of Malibu,Calif. She is the granddaughter of Edgar and Mildred Anderson of Los Angeles, and Joseph and Maude Drew also of Los Angeles' Parents of the groom are, Dorita Griffin Dardar of Golden Meadow and Louis A Griffin, also of Golden Meadow. He is the grandson of Ludovic Billiot of Golden Meadow and Elevena Soley Billiot also of Golden Meadow. The Rev. Victor Malinda officiated at the double ring ceremony. The couple will reside in Cut Off. GUIDRY-DAVID Christy Marie Guidry and Jerad Philllip David were married at 7 p.m.Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. The bride is the daughter of Warren and Stella Guidry of Crowley and Michael and Christine Brunet of Thibodaux. She is the granddaughter of Hebert and Allie Dhuet of Houma, the late Lydia Dhuet of Gray, and Curtis and Eula Mae Guidry of Lafayette. Parents of the groom are Leo and Joanne David of Thibodaux. He is the grandson of Hugh and Mildred Rouen of Gray, the late.Wesley David and the late Shirley David of Schriever. The Rev. Patrick O'Brien officiated at the double ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father and stepfather. The bride wore a strapless gown of white Italian satin. The simple A-line gown was em bellished with braided beadwork at the neck and hemline of the gown and cathedral train. Her tiara of silver filigree and pearls held a simple veil of crystal illusion detailed with satin ribbon edging. She carried a French style bouquet of roses accented with greenery tied with a sheer bow. Serving in the wedding were Jessica Sykes, maid of honor; Linda Guidry, Tammy Loney, Ronda Richard and Geniene Simoneaux, maids. Kyle David was the best man; Jeremy Brunet, Jason Chatagnier, Bryan Guidry and Timothy Rouen, groomsmen; Jerry Hall Jr. and Marcus Latiolais, ushers. A reception was given at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Thibodaux. The four-tier white cake was decorated with fresh astromary and baby's breath topped with a Dreamsicle porcelain figurine. The groom's cake was a tuxedo design made of chocolate. The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and will reside in Thibodaux.
