Neil Sr. were married at 3 p.m. Nov. 3, 2001, in Houma. The couple will reside in Houma. LINER-DOMANGUE Brandy Lynn Liner of Houma and Cory James Domangue of Bourg were married at 4 p.m. Oct. 20, 2001, in a private ceremony at their home in Houma. The bride is the daughter of Patrick Liner Sr. of Houma and Sarah Poindexter of Corinth, Miss. She is the granddaughter of the late William Poindexter, the late Undine Riley of Corinth, the late Edward Liner Sr. and Theresa Liner of Theriot Parents of the groom are Whalen and Susan Domangue of Bourg. H e is the grandson of Irey Domangue of Chauvin, the late Viley Domangue, and Druis and Dot Dupre of Chauvin. Judge Cheryl Blanchard officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore a short white chiffon sleeveless dress accented with an overlay of lace and round neckline. She carried a bouquet of mixed roses accented with greenery. Serving in the wedding were Carrie Toups, maid of honor, and Travis Price, best man. A reception was given by the couple at their home. The three-tired white cake with peach and pink roses was accented with doves and pearls. The groom's cake was red velvet with an outdoor scene. The couple will reside in Houma. TERREBONNE-LOVELY Ida M. Terrebonne of Cut Off and Willie Lovely of Houma were married at 3 p.m. Oct 27, 2001, in Talullah. The bride is the daughter of Jeffery Terrebonne and Gerline Guidry of Larose. Parents of the groom are Clarence Lovely and thelate Hallet Lovely. The Rev. Willie Turnen officiated at the double-ring ceremony ELLENDER-BARKER Shannah Ellender and Benjamin Barker, both of Houma, were marned at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at Lakeview Plantation in Charenton. The bride is the daughter of Gerald EIlender and Juan Ellender of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Allen J. Ellender Jr., M.D., and Mrs.Ellender, the late Sonny Thibodeaux and Doris Rodrigue. She is a 1992 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and a 1999 graduate of Nicholls State University. She is employed by Terrebonne Parish School Board, teaching English at H.L. Bourgeois High School. Parents of the groom are Jacob Barker and Suzanne Champagne. He is the grandson of the late Lee Nicholas, Byrdie Barker, the late Irby "Chuck" Boudreaux and Marcella Avonda. He is a 1996 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and attends Louisiana State University. He is employed by Outback Steakhouse. The Rev. John Conery officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a traditional satin ivory gown with cap sleeves, fitted bodice, and full skirt. The gown was accented by a darker ivory band around the top and bottom of the gown and a bow on the back. Her ivory veil fell to the middle of her back, with a thick ivory cord- ing. She carried a simple layered bouquet of calla lilies tied together with a sheer ivory bow. The church had six candies on the alter and three ivory candles on each side resting in sterling silver holders which were accented with two dozen cream and colored roses. Serving in the wedding were Jessica Ellender of Houma, sister of the bride, as the maid of honor, and Sarah Ellender of Houma, sister of the bride, as maid. The maids' dresses were a palegreen two-piece top and skirt. Hailey Rodrigue, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. William Barker of Houma, the groom's brother, was the best man; and Joshua Ellender of Houma, the bride's brother, groomsmen. Tyler Dean, the bride's brother, was ring bearer. A reception was held at Lakeview Plantation. The hall was decorated with round tables with ivory table cloths and ivory wooden chairs. The tables were decorated with gerber daisies. The three-tier traditional cake was accented with raised white dots in a pattern. The couple will reside in Houma. WALDRUP-DERISH Klaire Ashleigh Waldrup of Bourg and Christopher Hart Derish of Marrero were married at 5 p.m. Aug. 11, 2001, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehoyah Witnesses. The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Kim Chatagnier Waldrup of Bourg. The groom is the son of Tyron Derish of Denham Springs and Rarnona Morocco of Marrero. Craig Boudreaux, uncle of the bride, officiated at the double-ring ceremony, in which the bride was given in marriage by her parents. Serving in the wedding were Jennifer Keel of Long Beach, Miss., matron of honor; Angela Hartman of Marrero, Jenny LeBoeuf of Bourg, Mandy Loescher of Marrero, Becky Martinolich of Thibodaux, Lindsey Friselia of Houma, and Sarah LeBoeuf of Bourg, maids; Khole' Walrup, sister of the bride, and Kristen Graves, junior bridesmaids; and Farrah Gillaspie, Scarleff Voclain and Micah Alexis LeBoeuf, flower girls. Eric Farmer of Jackson, Miss., was the best man; Randy Deroche of Bourg, Micah LeBoeuf of Bourg, Jesse Loescher of Marrero, Daniel Walker of Harvey, Tony Hebert of Chauvin and Dillon Epp of Pensacola, Fla., groomsmen; Douglas Gillaspie, Zachary Deroche and Shawn Derochel junior groomsmen; and Dylan Derish, ring bearer. The bride wore a three-piece ivory peau de soie gown which featured an corseted bodice that laced up to reveal her back and was detailed with rum pink embroidery and embellished with cry stals and pearls. The detachable chapel-length train was full and sweeping and was also embroidered in rum pink. At the reception the train was removed to reveal her straight skirt, also embroidered in rum pink. Her hand-designed tiara consisted of pearlized clay roses, crystals and pearls with a separate fingertip-length veil. She wore a single strand of pearls and matching ear-rings. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of one-and-a-half dozen Anna roses with a sprinkling of peach stock and English ivy tied together with adouble faced ivory satin bow. The bride's maids wore ballet pink corseted floor-length gowns with matte satin bodices and chiffon off the shoulder ties and chiffon skirts. They carried antiqued silver tussie mussies filled with Anna roses, peach stock and English ivy. The Kingdom Hall was decorated with aisle markers consisting of white-washed embossed flower pots filled with English ivy and garden stakes with pineapple finials tied with ivory illusion. Two large arrangements were on pedestals and placed in filigree basket weave urns. The arrangements were done in Anna roses, white larkspur, peach stock, porcelana roses, variegated pittisporum and greenery. For the rece ption, the foyer of the Houma Municipal Auditorium contained an antique hutch filled with family wedding p hotographs, from the bride's great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, along with two pairs of columned arches draping in cream chiffon. One contained a statued fountain and the other a sign-in table, aside a large decorated birds cage with a pair of white doves. The auditorium featured a 13-foote high backdrop with marbleized bases with Roman columns and lit pediments draped in chiffon. A statue of a Roman water bearer was in the center of one of the arch ways and the other two contained a the two arrangements from the ceremony. Centerpieces on the guest tables were crystal hurricanes with a ring of flowers around the base. Lighted ficus trees, matching flower arrangements on pedestals and a sculptured boy fountain decorated the catering tables. There was a white tent, which housed the Bananas Fosterof dessert. The bride's cake was a four-tiered connfection with butter-cream icing in a lily of the valley design. Adorning the top of the cake and also separating the four layers were fresh flowers consisting of Queen Anne's lace, peach stock, stephan-otis, porcelana roses and bridal roses. There were also two smaller cakes aside the center one, which had silver tussie mussies laid on top with fresh flowers spilling out of them. All three cakes were atop ornate silver cake plateaus. The cakes were flanked by two large silver candelabra with crystal flower cups containing flower arrangements. The bride and goom silver toasting glasses were her mothers and fathers when they were married. The groom's cake was a square Rhett Butler confection with chocolate-dipped strawberries on the top and was seated on a square silver cake plateau. It was accompanied by a large flower arrangement in a silver and crystal vase and a larged silver candelabra. The bride is a 1998 graduate of South Terrebonne High School and a 1998 graduate of Omega Instituted of Cosmetology where she received her cosmetology and instructors license. The groom is a 1988 graduate of L.W. Higgins High School in Marrero and a graduate of Delgado Community College. He is employed by Bell South. The couple will reside in Marrero.
